At its annual material event, Amazon has introduced a new series of ECHO devices, which was built specifically for AI’s assistant, Alexa+, which has already been released to millions of customers through the early access program.
To present AI’s capabilities, Amazon releases four new ECHO devices with improved processing power and memory: Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11.
The key to devices is Alexa+integration, allowing speakers to respond to more questions than previous models, providing support for natural language conversations, more complex questions and soon, more additives and capabilities.
This will later include an ALEXA+store, where users can explore services from brands such as Fandango, GrubHub, Lyft, Priceline, Taskrabbit, Thumbtack and Yahoo Sports. The devices will also be able to manage new or existing subscriptions with Amazon services such as Amazon Music, Amazon Kids+or Alexa Emergency Assist and adapting their experience to Alexa.
The new Echo devices starting today are running on silicon chips designed by Amazon, AZ3 and AZ3 Pro, which include an AI accelerator designed to run AI Edge models.
AZ3 allows for better conversations in Echo Dot, allowing people to talk to the device from anywhere in the room while still filtering the background noise. The chip also improves the detection of the alarm word by more than 50%, Amazon claims.
The other three devices – the studio, show 8 and 11 – use the AZ3 Pro, which adds support for advanced language models and vision transformers.
In addition, AZ3 Pro-Pro-Organization devices include Ominisense, a custom sensor platform for the AI environment that uses the 13 Megapixel camera on new Echo Show, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer and Wi-Fi Canal Status information (CSI). With this feature, the devices allow Alexa to act on home events, such as delivering a reminder when a particular person walks in the room or warns you into an open garage door before going to bed in the evening.

The new Echo Dot Max, $ 99.99, adds almost three times the bass for better sound. The two -way speaker includes a deep bass woofer and a custom tweeter for high notes.
The $ 219.99 Echo Studio, meanwhile, has a new spherical design, allowing it to be 40% smaller than the original, says Amazon. The Echo Studio also includes a high diversion woofer, spatial sound and Dolby Atmos and an upgraded light ring for a better visual understanding of what Alexa is doing or processed.
The company notes that consumers can connect up to five Echo Studio or Echo Dot Max devices with compatible Fire TV sticks for an impressive audio system in their home and plans to sell products to Home Theater Alexa packages.

Also new are two smart screens, the Echo Show 8 ($ 179.99) and the Echo Show 11 ($ 219.99), which both have a new design, improved image quality, 13 Megapixel camera, larger screen area, new stereo speakers, a custom woofer and the features of Alexa+.
The AI assistant will run a new smart home experience called Alexa+ Home, which combines things such as including camera feed and a smart home distributor that supports matter, thread and zigbee.
As a one -screen Alexa devices, screens also work well for access to entertainment, such as audio and video flow, home management and family activities and managing home shopping needs. The latter is incorporated with Amazon, Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh to facilitate the rearrangement of loved ones and monitoring tradition.
In addition, Amazon works with Smart Ring Maker Oula to bring personalized health and well -being on Alexa. This could help to do things like adding workout reminders or pushing to go to bed to get the best sleep.
Other devices from Wyings and Wyze will be supported in the future.
