In an effort to protect a valuable revenue flow, Apple is trying to delay a court ruling that forces the company to let iOS app programmers to US users redirect output payment systems and avoid supplying to the iPhone manufacturer.
The company was filed An emergency move Late on Wednesday, asking an Court of Appeal to grant a partial stay in a previous decision.
A US Court last week decided in favor of the epic games in a long -standing case against Apple after Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers found that Apple did not comply with an order delivered in 2021.
Apple’s new government forces to leave applications in its US applications store include features that could redirect users to external purchasing systems, stop collecting supplies to these payments, and stop showing “terrorists”.
Apple is now calling for a stay in bans on “charge a cut of transactions made by users through external market links and setting any conditions for the language or placement of links or other reports on external market options”.
Apple argues that the new ruling is unjustified, saying that “dramatically” it is increasing the scope of the previous order, as the court did not initially foresee the company to charge committees on payment systems that have not implemented-Apple had not begun to do so at the time.
Apple reports that it has complied with the court order of 2021, allowing developers to connect with not Apple payment systems. It should be noted that it charged application developers 27% in these transactions anyway, in addition to the appearance of the “terrorism screens” described above.

The new class would result in significant losses, the company said. “These restrictions, which will cost significant amounts of Apple annually, are based on behavior that has never been deemed (and are not) illegal, have probably been imposed to punish Apple for a supposed non -compliance with a previous state order that is itself,” he said in the deposition.
“Without staying, these excellent invasions in Apple’s business will cause serious irreparable damage,” the company said.
Epic games reacted to Apple’s move and said It is a “last attempt by the last turtle to prevent competition and to earn huge pay to the detriment of consumers and developers”.
The iPhone manufacturer appealed against the court’s ruling earlier this week. The company has already complied with the order and allows developers to connect users to complete markets outside the App Store ecosystem. Companies like Spotify and Amazon have already updated their applications to redirect users to their own websites for payments.
The story has been informed with the statement by Epic Games.
