Google has announced the third new products and features aimed at the use of health care, including improved bishops in search of health questions, API medical records and new AI models that focus on health.
When searching, Google says it uses AI and ranking systems to expand “Griness Panel” answers to thousands of health -related issues and to add support for healthcare questions to Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese mobile. The search already provides answers to the knowledge group of diseases such as influenza or common cold, but the information is significantly expanding the number of issues covered by knowledge committees, the company said.
Google also debuts in a search mode that calls “what people suggest” to Mobile in the US to highlight the content from users with shared health experience. For example, if one asks about joint exercises for arthritis people, what people propose will gather reports from various forums around the tissue using AI.
What people propose is based on opportunities such as Google’s personal health history on YouTube and seems to be clearly aiming to keep people to leave the search for Reddit and other sources of health tips.
“While people are coming to seek to find reliable medical information from experts, they also appreciate hearing from others who have similar experiences,” writes Karen Desalvo, head of healthcare on Google, blog Post provided on TechCrunch. “Using AI. Google also launched new API medical records worldwide for the Health Connect platform for Android devices. These will help collect data from medical providers and allow users to view this data in different applications, as well as facilitate access to information on devices such as phones, Google said.
“These APIs allow applications to read and write medical files, such as allergies, medicines, immunerations and laboratory instructions in standard FHIR format,” Desalvo explained in the blog post. “With these additions, Health Connect supports over 50 types of data throughout activity, sleep, diet, vital and now medical records – making it easier to connect your daily health data with data from your doctor’s office.”
In other health -related product announcements, Google has said that the loss of pulses detection at the Pixel Watch 3 Smartwatch, which has received liquidation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), will be released by the end of March in the US, the trait can be traded when you have a loss.
Google also presented new AI models for the discovery of drugs called TXgemma, after the company was launched by a collection of Gemini AI models for cases of multimodal use in health care. TXgemma is going to be released in the coming weeks.
