Spotify finally starts high quality support, with no music loss for account holders after years of waiting.
The company first talked about a Hi-Fi level in 2021-which would offer CD quality sound-but the plan faced multiple delays, partly due to licensing issues. Last year, Managing Director Daniel Ek said the company was in the “first days” of launch without streaming support.
In recent years, reports and hints of code in the application have suggested that the company was planning to introduce a more precise level for music without loss.
Now the company finally releases support for up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz flac flow quality-a format that maintains the original sound quality without compression-for paid users.
The company said the flow without loss would be circulated to users in more than 50 countries by October. He added that subscribers in Australia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the US and the United Kingdom already have access.
Users will receive notice in their application when they have access to streaming without loss. You can enable operation by settings and confidential > Media Quality> and by choosing “no loss” quality for Wi-Fi flow, cellular data and downloads.
The company said the feature is available on all devices, but you need to activate it manually for each device. This means that the setting is not valid for all devices you use with your Spotify account automatically.

As the loss -free streaming files are bigger, you will be able to keep track of how much data you have used for streaming. Although you can transmit quality routes without loss via Wi-Fi, this is not possible for Bluetooth-connected devices due to zone range restrictions.
You can use Spotify Connect to connect to devices from companies such as Bose, Yamaha and Bluesound to transmit music via Wi-Fi. In particular, Apple has also complained about Bluetooth’s bandwidth restrictions for high quality music flow.
Spotify is delayed to fulfill its promises of making music without losses available to users. Opponents, such as Apple Music, put it in 2021 and Amazon Music made it without loss without starting a paid HD level in 2019. Spotify said this launch covers “almost every piece” in the 100 million song library, so there may be some songs.
