Spotify is imported A new feature that allows subscribers to create more professional, personalized breeding lists. On Tuesday, the company started a custom transitions that allows you to automatically add transitions between a playlist tracks or customize your own using predetermined options such as Fade, Rise or Blend, along with other options.
To use the feature, open any playlist and select “MIX” from the toolbar to start processing. When adjusting the route with different transition styles, you can also adjust the settings for things such as volume, EQ and effects and use the waveform and beat the data to find the best spot on each piece to start the transition.
Spotify notes that it will automatically display the key and rhythms per minute for each piece, to make it easier for beginner audio purists to start.
The new options are designed to attract playlist experts and other music fans, who have collectively created about 9 billion breeding lists on the Spotify platform to date.
Growth completes other updates that Spotify started in the past year that give users more control over their listening experience, as it says, such as tools to add, sort and edit playlists, customize the type of weekly DISCover, Snooze Tracks, It also allows Spotify to compete with Apple Music’s rising Automix, which currently lives on iOS 26 Developer Beta and claims to allow you to mix “as a DJ”.
Premium subscribers with access to Transitions feature will also be able to store and share the playlist with other friends in social media or even invite other subscribers to work together on a mixed player.
The mixture can be turned on and turned off at any time by pressing the “Mix” option, allowing you to activate your playlist back to the most traditional type when the party or the gym is over (or anywhere else you will throw away the mixture).

The company recommends mixing better with the music already produced for seamless transitions, such as House and Techno, which tend to be more easily combined.
Like other breeding lists, mixtures can be further adapted using your own coverage art, along with recently added stickers and labels made for mixed breeding lists.
Custom transitions to breeding lists are available today for the majority of Eligible Premium users worldwide. (The company states that some markets in the APAC area still have to wait for the addition.) The operation is gradually circulated to users who have updated the Spotify application for iOS or Android.
