As AI becomes more widespread in class – where students use it to complete the tasks and teachers are uncertain about how to deal with it – an AI platform called Mathgpt.ai It started last year with the aim of providing a “against cheating” teacher to students and a teaching assistant to teachers.

After a successful pilot program in 30 colleges and universities in the US, Mathgpt.ai is preparing to double its availability this fall, with hundreds of trainers planning to integrate the tool. Schools that apply Mathgpt.ai in their classrooms include Penn State, Tufts University and Liberty University, among others.

The most notable aspect of the platform is that its AI Chatbot is trained to never give the answer immediately, but to ask questions to students and provide support, such as a human teacher. This technique, known as Socratic Requesting, encourages students to think critically and not just memorize answers.

For trainers, mathgpt.ai serves as a teaching assistant, creating questions and schools based on handicrafts and learning materials, as well as offering self -government capabilities and additional AI features.

Mathgpt.ai supports mathematics at the college level, including algebra, accounting, trigonometry and others.

In addition to extension, Mathgpt.ai launched an upgraded version of its platform, introducing new features that give teachers more controlling the way they use their students.

The main feature set by Mathgpt.ai in addition to other AI companies is the instructor’s approach. Recently, the platform has become even more focused on the needs of trainers. For example, trainers can now determine when students are allowed to interact with Chatbot. They can determine if the AI should provide teaching support for specific tasks, encouraging students to work independently of others.

Another new feature allows teachers to define the number of efforts that the student must answer properly to a question. To promote a low -pressure learning environment, Mathgpt.ai also introduced unlimited practice questions for students. These questions do not affect their score, allowing students to test their knowledge without emphasizing the grades.

Additional features Mathgpt.ai offers to trainers include an optional requirement for students to upload images of their work. This allows teachers to review submissions and verify the authenticity of the students’ work.

Other recent updates include integration with the three largest learning management systems (LMS): Canvas, Blackboard and Brightspace. The compatibility of the screen reader and audio function was also added, making it more accessible to people with disabilities. The platform is already offering closed captions for its brief video courses, which are mainly, to sound like historical figures such as Ben Franklin and Albert Einstein.

The company claims to comply with the law of Americans with disabilities (ADA).

While chatbots such as Meta AI, character.ai and chatgpt have been criticized for inappropriate interactions with new users, Mathgpt.ai says it has strict protective messages to ensure a safe learning environment.

“He will not have discussions with you about your girlfriend, your friend or the meaning of life,” said Peter Relan, president of Mathgpt.ai, at TechCrunch. “It just won’t get involved, because these free chatbots will go in that direction, right? We’re not here to have fun such conversations.” (Relan helped to be incubated I got it ai and was a first investor of disagreement.)

It is important to note that, like any chatbot, Mathgpt’s assistant.ai still has the ability to produce inaccurate information. Chatbot has a revelation at the bottom that warns that AI can make mistakes. Users can report the answers to the company if they believe the questions were answered incorrectly.

“If you find a mistake, we will reward you with a gift card to tell us what it is. Year one, there were five [hallucinations]. In the second year, there was one. Up to here [this year]none. So we take it very seriously, “Relan said, adding that mathgpt.ai has a group of human commentators to control every work, manual and all the other content to ensure” 100% accuracy “.

To continue its growth, the company plans to develop a mobile application in the future and expand on more issues such as chemistry, economy and accounting.

Mathgpt.ai offers a free choice as well as a $ 25 per student per lessons. The paid option includes various benefits, such as unlimited AI tasks and LMS integration.
