Since Spotify launched an AI DJ, Amazon Music has developed its own AI features, including AI playing lists and AI search, to more effectively compete with the musical giant.
Now Amazon Music is launching a new feature called “Weekly Vibe” designed to further personalize the listening experience. The operation is currently available to US customers at all levels of subscription in both iOS and Android app.
Recognizing a common challenge faced by greedy music movies – tired of the same songs after extensive listening – the weekly atmosphere aims to keep your breeding lists fresh every week. Every Monday, Weekly Vibe uses AI to create personalized breeding lists that reflect recent listening habits, taking into account the evolving “musical moods” and your interests, the company explains.
In addition, it implies new, similar music to enhance the experience of discovery.
To find your weekly playlist, go to the “Library” at the bottom of the screen and select “Made for You”. Here you will find the week’s playlist, with a new title, description and edited songs. Each playlist focuses on a particular subject or species, such as a hip-hop track or pop bumps.
You can also share your breeding lists with friends, publish them on social media and store playlists in your library for future listening.
The Weekly Vibe is based on Amazon Music’s breeding generator, released on Beta last year. With Maestro, you can introduce prompts – such as the mood you are in or even the random emojis – and AI creates personalized playlists that match the request.

The latest AI feature to start on the platform is “Explore”, which helps you dive deeper into your favorite artists by presenting some of their best songs and suggesting to other artists you can enjoy.
