In Google I/O 2025, the company has revealed a series of new AI work features coming to Gmail, Google Docs and Google Vid. Specifically, Gmail gets personalized smart answers and a new inbox cleaning feature, while VIDS is taking new ways to create and process content.

Personalized smart answers to Gmail will help you design emails that match your frame and tone. The feature will display details of previous emails and Google Drive to provide response suggestions with relevant information. Google says the feature will get rid of the need to dig your inbox and files for yourself. Personalized smart answers will also adapt to your tone, whether formal or interlocutor.

As for the new inbox cleaning feature, Gemini can now help you delete or archive the emails you no longer need. For example, you can tell the Gemini to “delete all my unknown emails from my well -groomed foot from last year.”

Gmail also gets a new feature designed to help you quickly program appointments and meetings with people outside your organization. With this feature, you can easily offer times for customers or customers to close a meeting or appointment with you. Gemini will detect when you are trying to create a meeting and impose the new feature. Google says the new feature will reduce the time and effort that coordinating programs are spent.

All these new Gmail features will be generally available in a few months.

Above the documents, you can now connect any decks, data and reports directly to a Google Doc and Gemini will only pull from these sources when it provides help in writing. Google says this will keep suggestions focused on reliable content. In this way, whether you work in a survey summary or in a business plan, you write in the right and relevant framework. This new feature is generally available from today.

Google has also announced that Google Vids is able to convert existing Google slides into videos. With this feature, you could convert a sales deck or a quarterly presentation of a business review in a video. Google notes that Gemini can help create scripts, vocals, animations and others. The operation will be generally available in a few months.

In addition, for companies that do not have the budget to film videos or the right representative, VIDS launches AI Avatars who will deliver their message. You can write a script and then select an avatar to present this message for you in a polished video. Google says the new feature could be used to create videos for boarding, announcements, products and more. AI Avatars will be available on Google Labs next month.

In addition, VIDS is getting a new “Transcript Trim” tool that will automatically remove filling words, such as “UM” and “Ah” from your videos. Users will also be able to adjust sound levels to their entire video with a new “Balance Sound” feature. The balance sound will generally be available next month, while the Transcript Trim will be available in laboratories in a few months.

Google has also revealed that users will be able to create more detailed visuals with Imagen 4, the latest model creation model in the workplace. The technological giant says this will allow users to create more detailed visuals on slides, vids, documents and much more.
