A ransomware gang assumed responsibility for Hack On Kettering Health, a network of hospitals, clinical and medical centers in Ohio. The healthcare system continues to recover two weeks after the ransomware attack that forced it to close all its computer systems.
Interlock, a relatively new group of ransomware that has targeted US healthcare organizations Since September 2024, she has published a place on her official dark website, claiming that she has stolen more than 940 Gigabytes data from Kettering Health.

Kettering Health’s Senior Vice President for Emergency Businesses, John Weimer, told local media that the healthcare company had not paid hackers.
TK, a spokesman for Kettering Health, did not comment when it was achieved by TechCrunch on Wednesday.
Interlock did not respond to a request for comments sent to an e -mail address referring to its dark website.
A brief review of some of the records published on its dark website seems to show that hackers were able to steal a series of data from the internal network of Kettering Health, including private health information, such as patient names, patient numbers, and clinical sums other categories of patients. Other stolen data include workers’ data and contents of common units.
One of the files contains documents, such as background files, polygamy and other private information about police officers with Kettering Health police.
On Monday, Kettering Health Posted an update At Cyberettack, saying that the company was able to restore the “basics” of the electronic health registration system provided by Epic, a health software company. The company said this was “an important milestone in the broader rehabilitation efforts and a vital step towards returning to normal businesses” that allows it to “inform and have access to electronic health files, facilitate communication between care groups and coordinate patient care and care”.
