Enterprise Servicenow’s work flow management platform on Wednesday announced the second acquisition related to AI this year.

Rewari said that as soon as the deal was closed, the data.world will begin to be integrated into Servicenow, with the Data.World platform offered as a product to Servicenow customers in the near future.

It is the second acquisition of Servicenow in recent months.

Servicenow announced in March that it has agreed to acquire MoveWorks, which is developing AI -centered businesses and tools for $ 2.85 billion.

These acquisitions fit nicely to the Servicenow design to embrace the Agentic AI and the tools needed to make it. In March 2024, Philip Kirk Servicenow SVP told TechCrunch that Servicenow would approach the transition to Agentic AI through a combination of construction and market capabilities.

“It’s a kind of three -dimensional chess right now to understand if we will build, buy or a partner,” Kirk said then. “I think the biggest thing we are trying to give priority is how we can make decisions that are in the long -term interest of our customers and that we differentiate us from what we know we are world -class, which is the automation of businesses on our platform.”
