Enterprise Servicenow’s work flow management platform on Wednesday announced the second acquisition related to AI this year.

Server said he has signed a definitive agreement on acquisition Data.WorldA data list and the data governance platform and the data governance platform. Austin, based in Texas, was founded in 2015 and previously increased more than $ 130 million in business funding from businesses such as Alumni Ventures, Prologis Ventures and Shasta Ventures, According to Crunchbase.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Data.World was recently valued at $ 350 million in the C series round in a series of $ 50 million in 2022, per yard.

Gaurav Rewari, SVP and GM data analyzes at Servicenow, told TechCrunch that Servicenow was looking for companies with which they could work with it would help customers develop AI on a scale. Specifically, Servicenow was looking for businesses better resources to make their “Ai-Ready” data.

“As I like to say, this path to the agent” Ai Heaven “goes through some form of hell data, and this is the gloomy reality,” Rewari said.

He added that data.world was the right choice to help Servicenow customers with this problem because the data. People help businesses to organize and easily seek their data. Adding World Government Governance tools will help customers make the most of AI agents and other forms of AI AI, Rewari said.

“We looked at a bunch of companies and came so impressed with what they had built,” he added. “We thought that the whole journey they were in, in relation to metadata management [and] Knowledge-based infrastructure to provide data from the enormous business and the governance of data themselves-which could be an extremely important addition to our portfolio. “

Rewari said that as soon as the deal was closed, the data.world will begin to be integrated into Servicenow, with the Data.World platform offered as a product to Servicenow customers in the near future.

It is the second acquisition of Servicenow in recent months.

Servicenow announced in March that it has agreed to acquire MoveWorks, which is developing AI -centered businesses and tools for $ 2.85 billion.

These acquisitions fit nicely to the Servicenow design to embrace the Agentic AI and the tools needed to make it. In March 2024, Philip Kirk Servicenow SVP told TechCrunch that Servicenow would approach the transition to Agentic AI through a combination of construction and market capabilities.

“It’s a kind of three -dimensional chess right now to understand if we will build, buy or a partner,” Kirk said then. “I think the biggest thing we are trying to give priority is how we can make decisions that are in the long -term interest of our customers and that we differentiate us from what we know we are world -class, which is the automation of businesses on our platform.”

Updated 10:09 AM PT: A previous version of this article refers to Data.World as “Declan”. Servicenow provided TechCrunch a blog post that used this name, which a representative later declared is an internal product nomenclature and should not have been published. Sorry for the error.
