Card announced On Friday, it will launch the labeling album including tracks created by AI as part of its efforts to combat continuous flow fraud.
The company says that about 18% of the music uploaded each day-more than 20,000 tracks-is now fully created. Although most of these tracks do not go viral, Deezer says that about 70% of their currents are false and are designed to earn rights.
To combat this, the pieces created by AI in Deezer are now clearly. These pieces will also not appear on recommendations based on editorial lists or algorithm -based recommendations and deceitful currents are filtered by rights payments.
The company says the new labels will be a game change player by helping listeners to determine the difference between human music and AI content.
Deezer notes that at present, AI-only songs account for only 0.5% of all currents on its platform, but that the trend is growing rapidly.
“We have identified a significant upward trend in the tradition of music created only in recent months and we do not see any sign slowing down. It is an issue across the industry and we are committed to leading the way to increasing transparency, helping music fans to find out which albums” Press Release.
“AI is not inherently good or bad, but we believe that a responsible and transparent approach is the key to building confidence with users and the music industry,” he continued. “We are also clear in our commitment to protect the rights of artists and songwriters at a time when copyright law is in question in favor of training AI models.”
Deezer applied for two patents in December 2024 for AI detection technology, which says it focuses on two different ways of detecting “unique signatures” used to say the difference between synthetic content and authentic content.
The move comes as a team of Universal Music, Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, reportedly in talks to grant permission to use their work at Ai Startups Udio and Suno. The newly established companies are accused by the copyright breach and any agreement would help to settle the pipelines between them, Parachute reported earlier this month.
