All good things come to those who wait. THE the first StrictlyVC of the year heads to San Francisco in less than a month, on April 30, at the Sentro Filipino Cultural Center. And you won’t want to miss another lineup of stellar speakers to mark the evening’s networking and mingling. AI innovators and founders seeking funding will especially benefit from the event’s discussions.

Who takes the stage?

You can get a ticket nowbut for those who haven’t been to a StrictlyVC event before and have already clicked on this link, let’s see what’s particularly exciting about it…

TDK Ventures chairman Nicolas Sauvage will kick things off after you’ve gotten your requisite drinks and networking, as he pitches corporate VCs in a conversation with TechCrunch Editor-in-Chief Connie Loizos. Sauvage, who leads TDK Ventures’ $500 million effort to invest in early-stage startups, will explain what makes corporate VCs work differently and what founders need to know about what catches his eye in an investment.

And founders on the fence should take note: Sauvage led TDK to back 45 startups and three unicorns — Groq, Ascend Elements and Silicon Box — during his tenure. TDK will also be hosting and sponsoring this StrictlyVC event, so attendees will have plenty of opportunities to learn and get some potential time with their team.

We will then proceed to a discussion with Campbell Brownformer CNN host and head of news at Meta, who has since pivoted to the startup scene as she tries to make AI platforms more reliable as more people turn to them for advice and information. She is now the co-founder and CEO of Forum AIand in-depth discussion of how to check, verify and maintain the accuracy of information provided by LLMs.

And those similarly involved in the AI revolution will be thrilled to hear it Amjad Massadco-founder and CEO of Replit, also takes the stage to share his first-hand experience helping lead a revolution in the way software is built. The rise of the coding vibe changed the way many worked, especially in the Bay Area, and it also brought in some strong competitors like Anthropic and OpenAI. Anyone looking for a glimpse into the future of programming will need to join us and stay with us for Masad’s talk.

As if all that wasn’t exciting enough, we still have one more speaker to announce, so you’ll gain even more information and expertise leading up to the final round of networking and connection building that defines the true proof point of StrictlyVC. Some of the biggest minds and most well-connected members of the startup community join us at these events, and you can be a part of it by signing up, so get your ticket today!
