Verified keys mean that your conversation with your Google messages is encrypted and secured from end to end. The company now makes this feature available to other device manufacturers with Android 16.

Later this year, Google will add better protection to reset the factory, limiting any functions to the device that are restored without the authorization of the previous lock/PIN or Google Account Balances. This essentially makes a stolen device difficult to use.
