Following Meta’s decision to abolish the third -party control system and relax the content of moderation policies, Google is looking for how to delete Facebook, Instagram and threads.

People who are angry with the CEO of Meta Accuse Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, to reach Trump’s management at the expense of conversion of the company’s social media platforms to more misinformation and polarizing speech than they already are. Zuckerberg’s observations that the company’s third parts were “very politically biased” for his vision for “free expression” probably didn’t help.

From Meta’s announcement, many users have called for inconsistencies with Zuckerberg’s new commitment to freedom of speech. How to download your Facebook file

If you are truly set to delete (and not just to disable) your Facebook account, you should download your personal information from Facebook files, which include photos, active sessions, conversation history, IP addresses, face recognition data and Ads you clicked on.

Note that these instructions require a computer and web browser, not a mobile phone.

Here’s what to do:

  • Click the bottom arrow under your profile picture in the upper right corner.
  • Go Arrangements and privacy > Arrangements.
  • Move down to the left column until you reach Your itemsand click Download your items.
  • You will be prompted to visit the Account center. Click Continue.
  • When the popup appears, click Download or transfer of information.
  • You can select information from which accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and Meta Horizon accounts, for download. Click Next.
  • Choose how many information you want to download and click the button Next. Note from FB: “If you select specific types of information, you will be able to choose which types of information you want to download, including data logs.”
  • Decide if you want to download your information to a device or transfer your information directly to a destination and click Next.
    • If you choose Transfer to destinationYou can select the destination and plan future transport. Once you make your choice, click Start the transfer and enter the password on your Facebook profile.
    • If you choose Download to the deviceSelect your file options. There will be a list that will allow you to create a range of dates and you can download to HTML or JSON and choose between high, medium or low quality media.
  • Click Submission.

How to delete your Facebook account

Note: If you delete your account, you cannot retrieve access to it. Facebook is delaying deletion for a few days after the requested and will cancel your deletion request if you are logged in to Facebook again during this period.

It is also worth noting, some information, such as the messages history, is not stored in your account, so your friends may have access to messages you sent after deleting your account.

With this in mind, here is how to do it:

  • Click on your profile image in the upper right corner.
  • Go Arrangements and privacy > Arrangements.
  • Click Account center On the top left of the screen.
  • Click Personal informationunder account settings.
  • Click Property and Account Check.
  • Click Disable or delete.
  • Select the account or profile you want to turn off.
  • Choose Delete account.
  • Click Continue and follow the instructions for confirmation.

How to download your Instagram information

There are two ways to find the website where you will download your Instagram information – you pass through Account center or Instagram settings. For the first, go to the Your items and rights To find Download your items. To get to Instagram settings, click on the three parallel lines in the bottom left of your screen, and then click the button Your activity…

Each of these steps will take you to the Download your items page. You will need to click on the profiles you want to download your details and select if you want to download them to one device or transfer the information directly to another destination.

If you choose Download to the deviceYou need to select a dates range, a notification email, the format of the reception request and the quality of photos, videos and other media – as well as receiving your Facebook information. Then click Creation.

Once you make the request it will appear as Ongoing under the tab current activity in Download your items tool. Instagram will notify you by email and in the app when it’s ready to go and you will have four days to download the information.

How to delete your Instagram account

Download your information? Now you are ready to delete permanently.

Here’s how to do it on the website:

  • Go straight Settings of Property and Audit Accounts to the account center.
  • Click Disable or delete.
  • Click on the account you want to delete.
  • Click Delete accountThen click Continue.

Once your account is deleted, you can register with the same username if it is still available if you have a heart change.

How to delete your account in yarn

NOTE: If you delete the Instagram account associated with your profile, which will also delete your thread profile.

But to delete only the threads, you need to go to the website threads.net to a computer and follow these steps:

  • Click on two parallel lines in the bottom left of the page, and then click the button Settings.
  • Click Account At the top, then Disable or delete profile.
  • Click Delete profile.
  • Follow what is resulting, then click the button Deleting thread profiles.

It will take 30 days to pass the deletion request. And if you want to subscribe to the same Instagram profile, you should wait 90 days.
