For decades, Fortune 500 companies had to hire market research companies to gain important knowledge of customer satisfaction. These services come with a strong price and often take weeks to complete.
AconiteA market research start uses Voice AI to conduct customer interviews, providing analysis customers much faster and a fraction of the cost of traditional research advice. On Wednesday, the two -year -old company announced that it raised $ 3.4 million in seed funding led by Kleiner Perkins, participating in SV Angel, Common Metal and South Park Commons.
The idea for Keplar was designed in 2023 when Dhruv Guliani (top right), previously engineer on Google, where he worked on AI speech and voice models and engineer William Wen, participated in the South Park Commons Scholarship program.
The twin spoke with market researchers and brand managers and realized that the tools based on these professional – written research and interviews by humans – can now be replaced by the interlocutor AI.
With Keplar, companies can create studies in minutes, Guliani told TechCrunch. The starting platform can turn any question about the product into a moderation guide. Keplar’s voice assistant will then reach the participants and ask them to examine the questions to understand what their customers like and do not like the product.
If Keplar has access to CRM’s CRM, AI Voice researcher will approach existing customers. The results of the AI conversations are then packaged in PowerPoint reports and presentations, similar to those traditionally provided by researchers in the human market.
Voice -based Bots before developments in LLMS would not be possible. But the AI voice has become so good that the study participants sometimes forget that they are talking to AI, Guliani said.

“These conversations feel really real. When you play everything back, you can even hear the participants addressing AI Coordinator by the name: Ellie, Andrew or Ryan.”
Starter customers include clorox and intercom.
Keplar is not the only AI company trying to disturb the customer investigations market. Larger competitors include the Authority, which increased a series of $ 17 million, led by 8VC in June and Listen Labs, which raised $ 27 million from Sequoia in April.
