Nothing on Tuesday started the newest phone of the flagship after a two -year period. At an event in London, the company introduced the phone (3), which starts at $ 799 and aims to take over Bigwigs such as Samsung and Apple with the differentiated design and features targeting technology lovers.

From the release of the phone (1) in 2022, the GV -backed start was based on a transparent plan to make his phone stand out from others.

Phone (3) follows the same design language, but introduces a foreign camera layout that waives the standard square or circular alignment found on other smartphone devices. (If you are someone activated by non -aligned items on sites or applications, this camera setting can make you go crazy!)

Nothing also favored the LED organization on its back – a feature called Glyph. This has always been somewhat well -preserved, but the company used this to show you different alerts and notifications using LED lights.

Now, the company replaces the glyph with a small mini -led circular screen, called Glyph Matrix, on the back of the device at the top right.

This addition displays 16-bit style patterns, which can offer more information from the previous Glyph setting.

The company also releases mini-apps for this interface, as you rotate the bottle and rock, paper, scissors.

It is 2025, so the phone should also include some features that work with AI. During launch, this includes two features called basic space and basic search.

The company first made the Essential Space debut, an app to store screenshots and mark the Nothing Phone (3A) Pro. Now, nothing upgrades this app to allow you to record meetings and see a AI transcription and summary.

To use the function, you need to press the basic key and place the phone with the side of the screen down to start recording. While this sounds potentially useful, nothing has tissue interface to access these transcriptions and summaries at the moment.

Nothing is also a noun search debut – a feature like iPhone search – and infusion with AI.

This search feature allows you to search for settings, files or photos on your phone by typing the keywords.

In addition, you can type in natural language questions to get tissue results by pressing a button next to the search bar. This is similar to iPhone’s upgraded Siri interface, which is integrated into the chatgpt.

Specifications and availability

The new smartphone has comparable specifications with the Android flagships of other companies.

This includes a 1.5K 6.67 -inch AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, built in 4 nanometer architecture.

The trio of cameras has 50 Megapixel resolution, but plays different roles. The main camera has a 1.3 -inch sensor, which is 20% larger than the phone (2), in AF/1.68 Aperture. The Periscope Telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom with AI Super Res. And the extremely wide lens provides a 114 -degree visual field.

Nothing also upgrades the Selfie camera from 32 Megapixels to 50 Megapixels.

The phone (3) has a battery of 5,150 mAh (5,500 mAh in the India variant) with support for 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

The company said the phone would carry anything OS 3.5, based on Android 15, and will be updated on Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, later this year. He noted that the flagship device will receive five years of software updates and seven years of security updates.

The company will sell the 256GB model of the phone (3) for $ 799 and the 512GB model for $ 899. At this price, the phone competes directly with the Samsung Galaxy S25, which was released at a base price $ 799 earlier this year.

Advances for the device start on July 4 with general availability on July 15.

As TechCrunch said last month, nothing does the phone (3) available in the US generally through its own website and Amazon. This is the second device after the phone (2), the company is widely available. The other budget devices were only available through a Beta restrictive program.
