Skype users can either carry all their contacts and chat with data to Microsoft groups, or they can choose to download Skype data and move to another video service.

How to extract Skype data

- Open Skype and log in.
- Click on the three horizontal dots under the account name in the upper left corner.
- Go Arrangements > Account and profile > Your account.
- After being redirected to Skype’s Web Portal, select from two Exhaustion Contacts (.csv); Export Caller ID Numbers (.csv)or Exporting files and conversation history.
- The “Exporting File and Historical Chat” allows users to download Conversations and Archives.
