ContractA SAAS platform using AI to rationalize scientific research, announced a $ 2.1 million seed round with Drive Capital and Charactervc, among others.
It just started last year by Ashia Livaudais and Michael House, the platform provides organized workplaces for researchers to access documents, code, data and experiences in one place. It helps to monitor progress and has an AI feature that helps with review and peer reproduction.
“It is also important to note that Symbyai is based on a privately owned AI solution, so users do not need to worry about the accidental sending of confidential information to Openai, Anthropic or any other company,” Livaudais told Techcrunch. The intellectual property of the researchers remains ownership of the owners and is not used to train Symbyai’s underlying models.
Livaudais said it started the company after firsthappy with the archaic system of revision and creation of science.
“Symby’s foundations were created when creating a solution in a problem I was facing daily and then realized that my colleagues in the research community were looking for solutions to exactly the same problems,” he said. “By the time we realized that we could successfully reduce and repeatedly critical research procedures from months to hours, demand for a productive version began to emerge from almost any debate about the discovery I had.”
Symbyai works with academic publishers, research organizations and universities. Livaudais said it met with its investors, first participating in the GBETA program, which is part of the gene8Tor. Through the GBETA program, Livaudais was associated with its first investors, including Antler, which Livaudais said, took an early opportunity to Symby by investing in his pre-port.
The company now plans to use fresh seed capital to continue building the company and fulfill its initial partnerships.
