Tesla sued a former engineer for the allegedly stealing commercial secrets from the Human Robotics program, Optimus and their use to launch an opposing start.
The trial, which was filed on Wednesday and Originally reported by BloombergHe blames Zhongjie “Jay” Li for theft of commercial secrets on the development of Tesla by “advanced robotic hand sensors” to start starting PerceptionsA Y Combinator-Backed Companies Building Robotic Hands.
The complaint reports that Li, who worked in Tesla from August 2022 to September 2024, received confidential information about Optimus on two separate personal smartphones.
The complaint also added that during the last months of his Tesla year, Li researched the “humanoid robotic hands” on his workplace in the workplace, in addition to making internet searches on business risk capital and other sources of starting funding.
