CES 2024 will be here before we know it, taking over Las Vegas with crowds, booths full of products, and plenty of companies touting how artificial intelligence is improving their offerings. As noted in our CES preview, while the conference has had its ups and downs of late, it’s increasingly becoming an opportunity for startups to gain attention while all eyes turn to bigger-budget announcements from the likes of Samsung, Sony, and Nvidia .

TechCrunch will be on the ground at CES 2024 throughout the event next week, with a special focus on those startups that might be pioneering a major live stream of their own in a few years. You can follow our team’s CES coverage across the site and social handles here, but let’s cut to the chase, as we all know these big names still matter.

Monday 8th January will give tech and transport enthusiasts plenty to watch from 8am. PT / 11 a.m. ET, with many of the most popular press conferences broadcast live to the public, as has become the norm. These events will set the stage for the public CES exhibition that opens on January 9th and runs through January 12th.

As you’ll see in the recap below, AI will be the big line running through nearly all of the big events, as CES 2024 marks the event’s first iteration entirely in the new AI-focused era.

We’ll keep this list updated as the big day approaches and schedules change, but for now, these are the big-ticket companies looking to make a big splash before the convention doors open and CES 2024 begins for attendees on Tuesday .

Nvidia

8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET

CES wastes no time getting to one of the main events. Nvidia is coming to the event building on its recent AI-powered development. So it’s no surprise Nvidia promises to focus on artificial intelligence and content creation during its CES keynote.

LG

8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET

At the same time, LG will present its own updates, although they have already shown some of their hand releasing the details of the new OLED TV series, with artificial intelligence processors that it claims will significantly improve visual and auditory fidelity over previous models. LG will also have updates on home, mobility and, you guessed it, artificial intelligence at the CES event.

Asus

9 a.m. PT / noon ET

Asus takes the award for most over-the-top CES teaser, as it aims to put viewers “in search of incredible transcendence. This is one way to frame the official revelation what Asus already showed is a new dual-screen laptop design.

Honda

10:30 am PT / 1:30 p.m. ET

Honda was pretty clear about what to expect from its CES event this year: the unveiling of a new lineup of EVs, complete with a purple hue to its body. Will this coincide with more details on Honda’s partnership with Sony for the Afeela brand revealed at CES 2023? Time will tell.

Sennheiser

12:30 p.m. PT / 3:30 p.m. ET

Audio company Sennheiser will have its own CES showcase, with a pretty clear focus, promising new headphone announcements from its live stream, which you can watch below.

Hyundai

1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET

Hyundai’s most impressive reveal appears to be an update on the Supernal eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle), which was first shown at CES 2020. In addition to the CES launch, Hyudai hosts special events on Tuesdays focused exclusively on the eVTOL concept and his vision of mobility hubs from which these flying vehicles would take off and land. Beyond its aerial ambitions, Hyundai will talk about sustainability, software and of course artificial intelligence in a stream that is planned but not yet public on their YouTube channel.

Samsung

2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET

If you’re looking for phone news from Samsung, you’ll have to wait until January 17 when their next Unpacked event kicks off. As has been the case for several years, Samsung will focus on the rest of its product lines at CES 2024.

And these products are about to get the AI boost, if the title of their press conference “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI” wasn’t enough of a signal. Samsung has already revealed some AI applications in the kitchen and in this updated line of robot vacuumswith more expected than The CES event is being streamed live via the newsroom website.

Samsung also posted some additional teases over the weekend about “a new generation of products that can be folded inward and outward,” which will include rolling and folding displays based on its existing lineup of foldable phones.

Sony

5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET

Witness the Ghostbusters logo while wearing a VR headset it’s exactly the kind of corporate synergy that CES is built for. Sony has highlighted its use of technology as part of its film and gaming efforts at previous CES events, and its focus on “Powering Creativity with Technology” looks set to be the same at CES 2024.
