Openai has eliminated a page on its website it used to express its commitment to diversity, shares and integration. The URL “https://openai.com/commitment-to-dei/“Now redirects”https://openai.com/building-dynamic-teams/“A page that talks about people with” different backgrounds “without using the word” diversity “.

The previous page stated that the “investment in the company’s diversity, equality and integration” was ongoing. He also said he was serious about this project and pledged to “constantly improve our work to create a different, fair and comprehensive organization”, as recorded by the Web Internet archive and also as mentioned with an article of 2023 CNN.

It is not clear when this change has been made, but there are some elements that were very recent. The diversity website reported as available from a ABC news story Published on January 22. By January 27, Openai had been published The new “Building Dynamic Teams” replacement website.

The new page says: “In Openai, we recognize that the strongest ideas appear when tested, discussed and improved by people with different backgrounds, experiences and ways of thinking. We encourage a curiosity culture where ideas can be questioned – not just acceptable.”

Openai did not respond immediately to our request for comments about changing the site or indicating any of the company’s internal procedures has been transferred or amended. Openai’s website promises “justice” In the training of models to abolish social prejudice is still alive, for example.

Openai is not the only company to distance itself from the wording of the Dei, as these specific words – as well as the concepts behind them – face strong political and legal reactions these days. Last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi guide The Ministry of Justice “investigates, eliminates and punishes”, the Dei programs are considered illegal to private sector companies receiving federal funds.

Last month, Meta, Google and Amazon all announced the elimination or adaptation of Dei policies, with the last two cleaning references to diversity and integration by recent 10-K forms.

Openai is working with the government on some opportunities. For example, secured government contract and started a Chatbot for government services.
