Snapchat introduces the first AI genetic lenses of the first video, the company in Techcrunch exclusively. The lenses are fueled by the internal model of Snap’s genetic video. The three new AI video lenses are available to users in the Premium Tier of the Snapchat Platinum app, which costs $ 15.99 a month.

The launch comes as the snap reveals an AI Video Generation tool at its partner’s summit last September. A spokesman for Snap said the new AI video lenses later exploit versions of this underlying technology.

SNAP has been considered as a leader in AR, but has also invested in AI in recent years along with almost any other technological company. With these new AI video lenses, Snap adopts AI to stay competitive and provide its users features that are not available on its opponents’ platforms, including Instagram and Tiktok.

While Snapchat starts with three AI video lenses during launch, it plans to add more every week. Initial lenses include “raccoon” and “Fox”, both of whom bring to life the furry friends who hug you. The third “Spring Flowers” lens creates a growth phenomenon that reveals the person in your snap holding a bouquet.

You can access new lenses through carousel lens. You can then select the lens and then record a snap through your front or rear camera. The AI video will create and then automatically store in your memories.

“These lenses, fueled by our interior made a genetic video model, bring some of the top AI tools available today to snapchatters through a well -known lens form,” the company writes in a blog position. “We have a long story to be first moved to bring the advanced AR, ML and AI tools directly to our community and we are excited to see what Snapchatters are creating.”

As Snapchat notes, it makes sense for the company to bring genetically AI to lenses, as it is a form that users have embraced for years.

While Snap has used AI tools from Openai and Google in the past to dominate some of its features, it now manufactures its own models at home.

Last month, the company presented a model of research research on mobile Mobile devices for mobile devices that will supply some of the features of Snapchat in the coming months. Snap said at that time that with the implementation of indoor technology, he would be able to provide the community of high quality AI tools at a lower operating cost.
