Google releases a new Gmail update designed to help you find the email you are looking for faster. The company announced On Thursday, that he will now use AI to examine factors such as recent, emails and frequent contacts on the surface of e -mails based on your search query.
Until now, Gmail has simply displayed e -mails in chronological order based on key words.
“With this update, the emails you are looking for are much more likely to be at the top of the search results – saving valuable time and helping you find important information more easily,” the company writes in a blog position.
Google also introduces a new switch so people can change among the “more relevant” or “more recent” email messages on a search results page. The alternation is aimed at users who prefer to see the search results that appear in chronological order, not the new “more relative” default option.
The update is released worldwide for users with Google Personal Accounts and is available on the web and Gmail application for Android and iOS. Google plans to extend operation to business users in the future.
The launch of the new search functionality comes as Google has created the email offer to better compete with Apple’s Mailing App, which took a Functioning features that look like gmail with iOS 18 last year.
