The Caller Identity Truecaller application said it crossed the sign of 450 million users earlier this week. The company said it added 50 million users in the last 10 months and 15.5 million users since early 2025.

India is the company’s largest users base. Therefore, it was not strange when Truecaller promoted India’s product and MD leader Rishit Jhunjhunwala in place of CEO, after the company’s co -founders decided to return from daily businesses last year.

Jhunjhunwala said that while India remains a critical market for Truecaller, he also saw growth in other areas.

“We are proud to serve more than 450 million users worldwide, as before, we continue to see steady growth in the larger market, in India, but faster growth is in markets outside India.

Truecaller’s development and position in India may be challenged as The country’s telecommunications department is pushing mobile carriers to apply its own caller identity systemthat could compete with the product of the Swedish company.

The company stated that throughout the quarter 2024, it maintained an active base of about 430 million users. The company had positive results for the quarter expiring DecemberWith net sales increased by 23% and profit after a tax increased by 29% on an annual basis. The company’s stock is over 33% annually at the time of writing.

Earlier this year, the company also incorporated the caller’s product to work better with iOS. Until then, due to the restrictions from Apple, the Live Caller ID feature was not at the same level as the Android equivalent.

Truecaller has also focused on creating value beyond the caller ID by introducing products such as calling and transfer and An assistant powered by AI to check calls. He tries to improve his experience as a SMS and chat customer.
