TapestryA new application designed to organize open social fabric is Addition To help people who maintain multiple social networks: now it will remove double suspension from your flow. This means that if you follow the same person on social networking services as Bluesky and Mastodon, you will not need to see their post twice appearing in your flow if they have been shared in many places.

The new feature, called Crosstalk, is released Tapestry’s update 1.1 iOS On Tuesday – an important update following the February 2025 edition.

Tapestry was built by the same group that developed the award -winning third part Twitter Client Twitterific previous years and even helped Create the word “Tweet” To describe the twitter posts. With the upholstery, the team turned their eyes to the emerging open social fabric, where decentralized platforms and open source technology are trying to relax Big Tech control on the web. Instead of billionaires such as Mark Zuckerberg or X’s Elon Musk, open social networks put control over the hands of web users.

In one place, users can watch any posts they share using open technology. This includes social posts in applications such as Bluesky and Mastodon, as well as other sources powered by RSS, such as blogs, Tumblr and Reddit Updates. YouTube video? podcasts? And more. Tapestry users can also combine these sources to create their own custom flows.

However, one of the greatest challenges of multi -food aggregation applications, such as tapestry, is that you often face copies, as other users cross multiple services such as Mastodon, Bluesky and micro.blog.

The latest Tapestry update is now able to automatically filter these duplicates, even when the positions are not exactly the same. For example, if a longer Mastodon position was edited to meet Bluesky’s 300 characters, Tapestry would still be able to detect the differences and hide the double position.

Users can choose whether they want to hide the double suspension or “muffle”, or if they prefer to remove it from their power completely mute.

This works because the wallpaper is looking for a repeated text by the same author in multiple flows, not necessarily a word race for word.

The update of the application also includes a feature called Quicklinks, which are shortcuts to favorite timetables or custom power supplies. Users can alternate between up to four different timetables, with long -term pressure on the supply icon on the toolbar of the application. (These adjustments are also specific to the device, which means people can choose to have a different set of loved ones on iPhone and iPad.)

Another smaller bite now released includes a button easier access to refresh the supply and jump between the power sites. This is on the distant left -wing menu button. Users can also customize flows from an item’s action menu and exchange the application icon, among others.

The Tapestry app is a free download on the App Store with in -app purchases. A monthly or annual subscription is available at $ 1.99 or $ 19.99, respectively, or people can buy a life card for $ 79.99.
