Companies of all sizes recognize the capabilities that change the AI game. Despite the enthusiasm for new technology, most of their pilot projects do not make it.

Gruve.ai, a boot found by the team behind Rahi Systems aims to help businesses acquire AI solutions from the test phase and in rApplication of EAL-World using AI to provide its services.

Rahi Systems is an IT solutions company acquired by Wesco for 225 million $ 2022.

The IT services companies, including important players such as Accenture, have long been the advisers to implement new technology projects for companies when they do not have specialized home staff. However, since their work is based on humans, their know -how often comes with a sharp price.

“The Technology Services Industry has not been disturbed for the last 25 to 30 years,” Tarun Raisoni, CEO of Gruve, told TechCrunch. “AI really changes this momentum.”

Gruve hopes to change the traditional computer consultants model in two basic ways: first, reducing the need to hire a large personal consultants using AI agents for repetitive tasks. Secondly, by charging customers based on use rather than a hourly basis.

In the past, VCs are generally not interested in investing in IT services largely because their dependence on human labor has made these businesses difficult to escalate. But using AI agents instead of human advisers, Gruve can deliver mixed rooms that look like a 70% to 80% software, which is significantly higher than the margins of traditional technology consultants, said Navin Chaddha, Managing Director at Mayfield.

Gruve’s innovative model and the experience of the Rahi Systems team have helped to increase a $ 20 million A -series round, led by Mayfield, with the participation of Cisco Investments and other investors. Fresh capital brings Gruve’s total funding to $ 37.5 million.

Raisoni said his team first meets the customer to determine the needs of AI and prepare his data to support AI applications before setting up and applying AI solutions.

“You need to understand your customer’s business before you can apply because their business processes are different. Their work flows are different. How they serve their customers are different,” he said.

But as soon as Gruve is ready to grow, AI agents will handle tasks such as detecting security violations and transition from on -site to cloud CRM.

Similar to traditional IT consulting services, the company works with selected reliable technology suppliers to apply their customers’ solutions. Today’s Gruve partners include large companies such as Cisco, IBM Red Hat and Google, as well as about twelve AI-native newly established companies such as Glean and supervision.

But unlike most technological advice, Gruve will not charge its customers when the solution is first applied. Their “services are available on request, provided in the same way that electricity is provided or in the same way that cloud computing is provided,” Chaddha said. For example, if Gruve has applied AI for security, the company will only charge the customer to a security breach detected and analyzed by the installed AI.
