Rosebud Lands In $ 6 Million To Escalate The Interactive

Journalism application Rosebud It has raised $ 6 million in seed funding as it seeks to further scan its application as a mentor AI for self-relocation and personal development.

Rosebud uses AI to analyze the listings of your magazines, identify standards over time and provide information, questions and guidance. The company says its goal is to help users better understand themselves, build new habits and watch goals, as well as a human mentor.

Since its release, Rosebud says, users have made 500 million words public and more than 30 million minutes have been spent on its platform.

Rosebud was founded in 2023 by Chrys Bader, a Y Combinator Alum and co -founder of Secret, and Sean Dadashi, a UC Berkeley cognitive science graduate. The couple met in a group of men and came with the idea of Rosebud based on their own experiences with treatment and training.

“Everyone is different, and they all have different languages, not only the spoken languages, but a different emotional language, different ways of communicating,” Bader said in an interview with TechCrunch, explaining that AI allows a level of personalized guidance and support that was not available so far.

“So a person may want validation and a soft approach, while one may want the really cruel, such as,” Hey, challenged me to call me to the BS approach, “he continued.” Part of understanding someone uses this understanding to better support every person. This is unlocked by AI, this was never possible before, to escalate such personalized tips or support where each person could have this wildly different experience than the other, depending on what they shared. “

Rosebud says he does not want to replace therapists and wants to open access to guidance quality.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand the team of four with engineering and products talent and invest more in marketing. The start also plans to invest more in its own memory technology and create the features of the application.

In addition, Rosebud wants to explore ways to make AI more accessible, possibly through partnerships with schools, businesses and clinics.

The seed tour was driven by the Bessemer Venture Partners, participating from 776, initialized capital, fuel capital, Avenir, Tim Ferriss and other investors.

Rosebud states that all magazines are encrypted and that magazine entries are never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.

Looking forward, Bader and Dadashi envision Rosebud as a mentor, teacher and partner who can develop strategically, long -term plans for users. For example, if one is going to become a father, Rosebud could create personalized content around this landmark with journalism and other resources.

“What if everyone had something to see for what is best for them? Or something that helps them become their best self? I think this is the fascinating thing that AI allows,” Dadashi said. “I have benefited so much from guidance throughout my life at various times and I have suffered in times when I did not have this guidance, I think what we see is a future where this can be available to everyone in a way that was simply unable to be available before.

Rosebud’s key features are free, but startup offers a monthly $ 12.99 subscription that unlocks premium features, such as long -term memory and voice and calls.

AI magazine is accessible through the tissueand up iOS and Android.
