At Apple’s WWDC 2025 event, the company announced the most dramatic change of software design to over a decade: Liquid Glass. This visual review gives us a look at what could come to Apple’s rumored AR glasses, which report that next year’s debut.
Users connect the wet glass to potential AR glasses because the new design draws strong inspiration from that of Apple’s Vision Pro Vision hem.
The Liquid Glass is called the idea that every window on a phone is like a glass window, see somewhat reflex. It gives the screen a more elegant look, though to the Beta developer, Apple has not run out enough while playing with opacity.
Vision Pro was not very commercially successful – it costs $ 3,500 and unlike a computer, it is not something necessary for our lives. However, the design of Vision Pro’s UX is impressive because it makes the headset feel a little less disorienting.
It may feel unnatural to be so immersed in virtual reality for a long time, so Apple has exploited the potential of mixed reality, overlapping the windows at the top of a user’s real environment and not on a synthetic background.
Apple may not be able to convince people that they need a $ 3,500 headset, but to keep up with competitors such as Meta’s Ray-Bans and Google’s refreshed effort in smart glasses, Apple must enter the arena of this lighter material. And one of Apple’s strengths as a company – something that stands out from Meta and Google – is that it is known for elegant, contemporary designs (except “The Notch”).

According to Bloomberg’s reports Marks GurmanThese glasses will have cameras, microphones and speakers such as its competitors. Siri-who is still waiting for his own makeover-will be embedded and could help by receiving telephone calls, playing music, live translation and directions. In a screen, users will be able to see alerts, images and other coatings.
If this is the case, then Apple should dominate the style of these somewhat transparent designs. If you wear AR glasses and take some form of notice, you will probably prefer to see it as something combined in your environment and not a giant colorful box that suddenly hides your vision while walking.
We don’t know much about the rumored Apple AR glasses yet, but we will be willing to bet we will see wet glass in them.
