Tesla surrender 384,122 vehicles in the second quarter of this year, completing another weak quarter for the company as it struggles to bring sales back to 2023 levels.
This accounts for a decline of 13.5% of the number of Tesla cars delivered in the second quarter of 2022 and means that Tesla performs the real chance of downgrading the total amount of sales from 2024.
Sales of this quarter were only slightly better than in Q1, which was the worst quarter of the company for more than two years. This was also the first full quarter of sales since CEO Elon Musk started working in Trump administration, which began in national protests “Tesla Takedown”.
Musk has repeatedly explained that poor sales of the first trimester of Tesla were partly due to the company that closed the production lines in all its factories to prepare for the start of the upgraded model. Said stay home for a few days in late May.
Tesla will reveal the financial impact of the harsh quarter on July 23, when it releases its official profit report.
Just last week, Musk triggered his long -standing confidential Omead Afshar, who supervised both the construction and sales for the US and Europe in the role of vice president. With the CEO reducing his time to Trump’s administration, he has committed to devoting more time to Tesla and his other businesses. Since then, Tesla launched a limited version of Long-Robotaxi service in Austin, Texas and Bloomberg News reported that Musk is Taking over AFSHAR’s sales perch.
