Adobe brings more AI image processing features, using Firefly models. The company said today that there is a picture upgrade, a mixing of objects and an upgraded removal of objects in Photoshop.
The company said that genetic luxury function would enhance an image of up to 8 megapixels. This is useful for restoring details in old photos, upgrading images for printing or adopting assets for various platforms.
In 2024, Adobe drives away a feature called Project Perfect Blendwhich works to correct colors, shadows and lighting for recent added objects in an image. The idea is to have the new object, such as a sofa sofa in a room, to mix with the environment.
Now, Adobe unfolds this feature under the harmonious monument, allowing you to place an object in a scene, remove its background and have Photoshop Use Firefly models to customize color, lighting, shadows and optic tones to fit the object.
The company also launches an improved object removal tool. Previously, when you used genetic filling to remove the object, the tool examined the entire scene to fill the removable object gap and sometimes led to unwanted objects in the image. The company has processed the algorithm to focus on removing the object and filling the gap with the background.

In a demo seen by TechCrunch, when Adobe’s director for product management in Photoshop, Joel Baer, attempted to remove a small bowl of Pico de Gallo from an image with a previous version of removal of objects, the tool just added a green spot. The new version was able to successfully remove the object and replace it with the background.
Adobe also adds some small features to Photoshop, including a better way of managing assets in a common and organized space. In addition, the company allows you to select the version of the Firefly model you want to choose when using AI features.
“We have talked to photographers, designers and content creators to understand what are the pain points in their work flows and what slows them down. These new features will help them save time, remove friction from their workflows, and take some time in their account,”
Genetically upgraded, harmonized and improved features of removal of objects are available on Beta for Photoshop on desktop and tissue versions. Harmonize feature is also available in the new Photoshop iOS application through early access program.
