Smart rings manufacturer Ultrasound acquires the Women’s Health Technology Company Vio Healthtech To begin the advanced cycle and ovulation monitoring, the company announced on Friday. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Thanks to the acquisition, the company begins a new addition to the Ultrahuman Ring Air called “Cycle and Poculation Pro”. Plug-in will allow users to accurately monitor their circles, receive fertility design support with ovulation confirmation, and detect patterns such as early or delayed ovulation. Plug-in also allows users to record moods, symptoms and more to reveal long-term wellness trends.
The pro -ovulation and ovulation use a temperature detection algorithm originally developed for VIO’s ovusense fertility screens. Technology has been developed for over 15 years and has been trained in a set of data over 260,000 cycles collected with medical quality sensors, excellent notes.
With the extremely annular air, technology allows the cycle to be monitored through the finger to allow personalized knowledge adapted over time and better understanding of users’ circles.
“Most menstrual monitoring platforms are made for women with regular 28 -day cycles,” Ultrahuman writes in a press release. “In fact, the majority have different circle standards-and those with conditions such as non-Beeding, PCOS, endometriosis or thyroid disorders often do not have an accurate or supportive experience.
Ultrahuman notes that the existing free circle and PowerPlug Powerplug, which offers fundamental monitoring tools and diary -based forecasts, will remain available.

“Wearables will form the future of health,” said Rob Milnes, chief executive of Vio HealthTech, in a press release. “We are pleased to be able to bring the knowledge of Ovusense women’s health to a significantly wider audience through the Ultrahuman Ring Air.”
