Meta releases a voice translation feature that operates with AI to all users on Facebook and Instagram worldwide, the company announced on Tuesday.

The new feature, which is available in any purchase where Meta AI is available, allows creators to translate content into other languages so that they can be viewed by a wider audience.

The feature was announced for the first time at the Meta Connect Developer conference last year, where the company said it would test the automatic translations of creators’ voices on wheels both on Facebook and Instagram.

Meta notes that AI translations will use the sound and tone of the creator’s voice to make the compiled vocal sound authentic when translating the content into a new language.

In addition, creators can optionally use a sync lip feature to align the translation with their lips movements, making it more natural.

During the launch, the feature supports translations from English to Spanish and vice versa, with more languages added over time. These AI translations are available to Facebook creators with 1,000 or more fans and all public Instagram accounts worldwide, where Meta AI is offered.

To access the option, creators can click on “Translation of your voice with Meta AI” before posting their cylinder. The creators can then change the button to activate the translations and choose whether they want to include the lips. When clicking “Share Now” to publish their cylinder, the translation will be automatically available.

Creators can see translations and synchronized lips before they are published publicly and can change any option at any time. (Rejection of translation will not affect the original cylinder, the company notes). Those who do not want to see translated cylinders in selected languages can turn it off in the setting menu.

The creators also gain access to a new measurement in their Insights team, where they can see their views from the language. This can help them better understand how their content reaches new audiences through translations – which will be more useful as additional languages are supported over time.

Postpone recommend These creators who want to use the characteristic person forward, speak clearly and avoid covering their mouths when registering. The minimum noise or background music also help. The feature only supports two speakers and should not talk to each other to work the translation.

In addition, Facebook creators will be able to up up to 20 of their own compiled sound pieces to a cylinder to extend their audience beyond those in English or Spanish markets. This is offered in the Meta Business Suite section “Closed captions and translations” and supports the addition of translations both before and after publishing, as opposed to the AI trait.

Meta says more languages will be supported in the future, but in detail what would be next to where they would come or when.

“We believe there are many amazing creators out there who have a potential audience who do not necessarily speak the same language,” Instagram leader Adam Mosseri explained A post on Instagram. “And if we can help you get to these audiences that speak other languages, reach cultural and linguistic obstacles. We can help you develop the next and gain more value than Instagram and the platform.”

The start of AI operation comes as multiple reports Indicate that Meta is restructuring the AI team again to focus on four basic areas: research, supernatural, products and infrastructure.
