A boot called Skylight It gets a different approach to the small video. Instead of limiting users to an algorithmic main feed, as in social applications, Skylight manufactures a community around human curators who publish and repeat videos to create their own custom foods that can be registered.

The option, which began on Monday in the version 2.0 of the application, could appeal to users who feel a growing sense of concern for traditional social media platforms and their algorithmic manipulations, as well as those that are disturbed by the increase in content that now creates.

Built on the Bluesky social network and the subject of In the protocolSkylight started for the first time in April to offer an open alternative to video applications such as Tiktok. Since then, the application has seen about 240,000 downloads and 100,000 videos uploaded to its platform. Skylight also received timely funding from Mark Cuban and others.

Like others in this time, Skylight’s ability to certify users with their bluesky creditiling gives him a start to build his own users. By utilizing Streamplace technology, Skylight was able to add a live flow function to its application without having to create functionality.
