I want to love Apple’s new air’s new air, but iPhone 17 is a better offer

I Want To Love Apple's New Air's New Air, But

My husband is enthusiastic. Is already in his second Folding Smartphone – a Galaxy Z Flip7 – after a Motorola Razr when it first came out. I am more than a “convince” gadget lover. If I see a reason to be excited, I’m in. Otherwise, I’ll stick with what I have until I have a reason to upgrade. I still remember when Apple came out with ID Touch to end the password fatigue. I bought one immediately.

I have been in the Apple ecosystem for more than a decade, because my work computer is Mac and having my phone and watch all their partners is both practical and helpful. Yes, this is the definition of Apple’s ditch. But I wouldn’t consider myself fangirl. To register, my personal computer-which means I bought myself for Job-related uses-is a HP spectrum in Windows. And I like it.

So I use another iPhone 13. As long as I like how Hubby’s phone fits so nice in a pocket, I prefer practicality over innovation. But my phone’s battery and touchscreen is getting older and doesn’t have a chip strong enough to run the promised Apple Intelligence AI future. So it’s time to upgrade.

Today, I was in a heartbeat of preparing for the preparation of the new iPhone air. It looked like the best of all the worlds for me: bigger screen, but small enough to fit my little hand, the best chip, and only $ 200 more than a 17, but even cheaper than a pro. I was never a professional user. I don’t film Hollywood-Esque films and I don’t have social media hobbies, so I’ve always chosen the best price.

But as I dive into the specifications, the iPhone 17 looks like a better deal.

Towards the air favor, it has a 6.5 -inch display, compared to the 6.3 -inch 17, but is lighter to hold. It also has the A19 Pro chip, despite the A19 chip. But strangely, this is not the same pro chip on the pro phone. It has 6 core CPU with 5 GPU core. This is similar to the A19 at 17. (The Pro model has a 6-core CPU and GPU 6-Core.)

The 17 hits the air during the battery life, promises 30 hours of playtime video for 27 hours of air, according to Apple. And while others will buy a battery for the air, bringing the battery life of up to 40 hours, this package defeats the purpose of a lighter, thinner phone.

The air uses a new and interesting computing camera, which means the features of the camera powered by the software. This allows a single lens to act as multiple lenses – including a pleasant new feature that allows simultaneous front and rear camera shooting. This is good for filming the reactions in the world and it would be fun to own! But the air does not have the ultra-high Fusion Fusion 48-Megapixel lens.

Air storage options are much better – up to 1TB – but for price. The $ 1T option costs $ 1,400, making it only $ 100 less than a 1T storage to a professional at $ 1,500.

Overall, as far as I want to love the biggest screen, lighter air, if I had to bring myself and get a higher level phone, I would go and buy a professional.

If the air becomes Apple’s foldable phone, like some suspects, I can cut off my 17 for a stunning folding iPhone at this point. Until then, for regular Joe users like me, 17 are still similar to a better deal.
