Meta Ray Ban Display And Anything Else Revealed To Meta Connect

At Meta Connect 2025, the biggest event of the company’s year, Mark Zuckerberg revealed three new smart glasses: the second generation Ray-Ban Meta, the Meta Ray-Ban display and the controller Wristband and Oakley Meta Vanguard.

Meta says he has sold Two million of the first generation Ray-Ban Meta The smart glasses, and earlier this year, Meta unveiled its most recent smart glasses with Oakley, designed for athletes. Silicon Valley leans heavily on AI Wearables and Meta seems to be one of the companies that drive the category.

With Meta wanting to regain its base in the AI race and selling more material, the company was at stake during Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Connect 2025. Overall, Meta presented a rather impressive technology-the post-neuronal band, the bracelet controller accompanying the Meta Ray-Ban screen, is a special highlight.

And yet, in a twist that felt reminiscent of HBO’s Silicon Valley, Zuckerberg’s demo for AI capabilities in Ray-Ban Metas failed. Oh!

While you share a live video flow of the Cooking Content Creator Jack Mancus At Meta HQ, Zuckerberg asked the chef to prove how Ray-Ban’s posts could help him to plague a Korean steak sauce.

“I love the set-up you have here, with soy sauce and other ingredients. How can I help?” asked the voice of Chipper Meta AI.

Mancuso asked for a recipe for a Korean steak sauce and the AI voice began to list the ingredients it would need-but Mancuso knows that he has to keep the demo short, so he interrupts and asks, “What do I do first?”

After a moment of silence that dragged little, Mancuso repeated: “What can I do first?”

“You have already combined the basic ingredients, so now a pear to add to the sauce,” AI said. But he had not yet combined the basic ingredients, because he had not started making the recipe, so the question of what to do first.

Mancuso asked the same question again and AI gave the same answer. The audience laughed.

“I think Wi-Fi can be confused-back to you Mark!” Mancuso said.

“Do you know what? It’s all right. The irony of the whole is that you spend years doing technology and then the wi-fi of the day … it traps you,” Zuckerberg said. “Anyway. We’re going to see what he did later.”

The whole interaction was a bit embarrassed, especially because the issue didn’t seem to be with Wi-Fi. But even when things go according to the plan, these presentations can feel a little hokey … like the end of the basic, when Zuckerberg and Diplo literally ran to the sunset together, wearing the Vanguards Meta Oakley. It should be a long day for Mark, so he might just need an excuse to build a heart on his program.

Meta presented his second generation Ray-Ban post-gypsywhich first made its debut in 2023. This model’s model has twice as much life of its predecessor battery life, which lasts up to eight hours of mixed use in a charge. Second -generation glasses also support the Ultra HD 3K video recording, which the company says is twice the latest model.

Meta’s smart glasses also get some new features with the release of the Metas Ray-Ban Metas Metas, such as Focus Conversation Focus, which will be available in Hstn Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses.

“If you eat at a hot new restaurant, moving the train or catching your favorite DJ set, Focus Conversity uses the AI’s open -ear speakers to enhance the voice of the person you are talking about,” Meta said in his press release.

Focusing conversation is not yet out, so we can’t say with certainty if it will be any help for your next night.

The live AI feature – which Meta failed to do the right to the scene – is also on its way. But they are so energy printed that you can only use it for about one or two hours.

“As we create battery and energy efficiency optimizations, Meta AI will go from something you are urging you with an awakening word to an always available assistant,” the company said.

The second generation of Ray-Ban Meta is valued at $ 379.

The Meta Ray-Ban Display Smartglasses are the most impressive glasses that Meta has revealed to date, with a built-in screen for applications, notifications and instructions on the right lens. But what sets this pair of clever glasses separately is the accompanying bracelet controller, the post -nesting complex.

This bracelet allows Meta to show a little of what has spent so much time (and money) on the Labs reality section, which is notorious about the loss of billions of dollars a quarter.

Visually, the post -nerve band looks like a Fitbit without a screen. Fueled by surface electromyography (SEMG), which can get the subtle gestures and small movements. This is much more sophisticated than a wrist gesture on an Apple watch. Users can write text messages by holding their fingers together as if they were holding a pen and “writing” the text. This means that you can see a Whatsapp message come to the lens of your right -wing glasses, then answer me by “writing” your answer.

At present, glasses support META applications, but the company will have to support a wide variety of applications in the future to get the type of adoption they are looking for. Like Apple and GoogleMeta bets that smart glasses could be reduced to the market share of the smartphone in the future – but it will be a great challenge to force such a huge cultural shift.

The Meta Ray-Ban display, which comes with the Meta Neural Band, will cost $ 799 and start on September 30.

For the Bearish among us, it seems difficult to imagine wearing smart glasses and sending text messages with handwritten air. But the smart glasses Oakley Meta Vanguard, designed for athletes, offer the most cohesive case for this type of technology.

Cyclists, runners and skiers can photograph their adventures without making their phones. The outdoor speakers of the glasses can play music during your workout and even connect to applications such as Strava and Garmin to relay your statistics. Like other new glasses, the Vanguard model is also activated.

Unlike other models of post -glasses, the Oakley Meta Vanguards has only one unified front lens with a camera in the middle, instead of two cameras lenses on both sides – it is a design that makes more technical logic and is a fashion statement that you can draw on sports glasses but not in the eyes (proof). The new glasses can capture videos in a resolution of up to 3K and have a 12 megapixel camera with a 122 -degree wide angle lens.

The glasses have a IP67 dust and water resistance rating for use during intense workouts. Meta says the design of the glasses features Oakley Prizmtm lens technology, designed to exclude the sun, wind and dust.

If you are not a runner Ultramarathon, these glasses will easily last throughout your workout. Glasses can remain for nine hours or six hours with constant music reproduction. But the charging case of the glasses can offer an additional 36 hours of charge on the go. Meta claims that the charging case can quickly get the glasses at 50% in 20 minutes.

Oakley Meta Vanguard Glasses retail for $ 499 and will be released on October 21.

On the VR front, Meta did not release the new search headsets as part of this year’s connection. Although the conference and the company are named after Metaverse, we have learned about a small number of updates in its VR, such as Hyperscape, which will allow developers and creators to create photorealistic spaces in virtual reality.

Meta is reportedly developed A VR Headset Sleep For the launch by the end of 2026, so maybe we will see that they will reach the next Meta Connect event.
