In a move that no one asked, Meta is Presenting “vibes“A new flow to the Meta AI app and meta.ai For sharing and creating short -forming videos created by AI. Think of Tiktok or Instagram, but every video you come across is essentially the AI slop.
Meta Ceo Mark Zuckerberg announced the development of vibes in A post on Instagram This has a series of AI -produced videos. In one video, a group of unclear hop creatures from one unclear cube to another. In another, one cat kneads some dough. A third video shows what seems to be an ancient Egyptian woman taking a selfie on a balcony overlooking ancient Egypt.
According to Meta, as you bind to the new flow, you will see videos created by AI and both creators and other users. Over time, the Meta algorithm will begin to show you personalized content.
You have the option of creating a video from scratch, or mixing a video you see in your flow. Before publishing, you can add new graphics, mattress to music and adjust the styles. You can then post the video directly on feed Vibes, DM on others, or cross the Instagram and Facebook stories and rollers.
Meta AI AI Alexandr Wang leader shared in a post That the company has worked with AI Midjourney Image Generators and Black Forest Labs for the early version of Vibes, while Meta continues to develop its own AI models.
Since no one really wants a version created by Tiktok’s AI, the user comments in response to Zuckerberg’s announcement was about what you would expect. The top comment on the post states: “The gang that no one wants this”, while another popular comment says: “The publication of Bro’s AI Slop in its own application.” Another comment states: “I think I’m talking about everyone when I say: What ….?”

The new flow will probably not be welcomed by users, especially since the rise in AI technology has caused floods from social media platforms with AI SLOP. The problem has become so widespread that companies like YouTube are now trying to break the issue. This makes Meta’s move particularly enigmatic, as the company stated earlier this year that it faced the “Unoriginal” content of Facebook and advised the creators that they should focus on “authentic narrative”, not short videos that offer little value.

The launch of the new flow comes as a Meta has recently invested in a large extent in upgrading AI’s efforts amid concerns that it was falling behind competitors such as Openai, Anthropic and Google Deepmind.
In June, the company restructured its efforts to create an AI section called “Meta Superintelligence Labs” after remarkable staff departures. Meta then reorganized the AI section into four groups to focus on foundation models, research, product integration and infrastructure.
