Startup Battlefield 200 applications are open, but only for three more weeks. Apply by May 27th for your shot at VC access, global exposure, TechCrunch coverage, $100,000 without equity, and more opportunities for significant scaling impact.
Pre-Series A founders — and anyone who knows a startup worth backing — this is your reminder: the deadline is fast approaching and the strongest candidates are already entering the arena. If your startup is set, don’t wait. Complete your application now before the window closes.
Know a startup that deserves to be in the spotlight? Here they are now to give them time to complete the application by the deadline.
Global view that will start your startup
This is not just another pitch competition. Startup Battlefield 200 puts you on the main stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in front of 10,000+ attendees, leading investors, media and TechCrunch’s global audience. You compete live, get direct VC feedback and prove that your company belongs to the next startups.
Waiting until the last minute is the fastest way to lose your edge. Early adopters have more time to prepare, more opportunities to stand out to the TechCrunch editorial team, and a stronger chance to make an impact before the competition heats up. Define your startup, then get the job done and apply.

Who should apply?
We are looking for ambitious early-stage startups creating innovative products that are potentially category-defining. Applications are open worldwide in every industry. Most selected companies are pre-Series A, although selected Series A startups may qualify on a case-by-case basis. A working MVP and a clear product demo are required. Most importantly, we’re looking for founders who build with vision, execution and real market impact.
This is the same launch point where companies like Dropbox, Discord, Fitbit, Trello and Mint gained early momentum. Thousands of applications every year. Only 200 are selected. Only 20 finalists perform live on the Disrupt Stage. A startup takes the crown.
