Every startup has a moment that changes everything.
For some, it’s landing their first client. For others, it closes the first round of funding.
For a select few, it starts with one step.
If you’re going to apply for Startup Battlefield Australia, now is the time. Applications close July 6 and once the deadline passes, the opportunity is gone.
Who should apply?
If you are an early stage startup in Australia or New Zealand, this opportunity was created for you.
We are looking for founders who are:
- Pre-seeding in Series A.
- Building a real product with early traction.
- Solving essential problems with innovative technology.
- Ready to pitch their company to investors, media and the wider startup ecosystem.
You don’t have to be famous.
Actually, that’s the point.
Startup Battlefield exists to discover the next company to break out before everyone else.

The grand prize goes even further.
The winner receives automatic entry into the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 — one of the most prestigious startup competitions in the world — in San Francisco this October.
