Julius AI, a starting out of himself as a AI data analyst, announced that he has increased a Seed of 10 million dollars led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
Horizon VC, 8VC, Y Combinator, Accistrator AI participated in the round with several angel investors, including the CEO of Perplexity Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Vercel Guillermo Rauch and the co -founder of Twilio Jeff Lawson, among others.
Founder Rahul Sonwalkar started Julius after graduating from Y Combinator in 2022 and rotating away from the launch of the logistics he had built during the accelerators.
Julius is designed to act as a data scientist, analyzing and depicting extensive data sets and then performing predictive modeling from the exhortations of natural language. Even with functionality similar to that found in Chatgpt, Anthropic’s Claude, and Google’s twin, Julius has drawn his own position. The company said it has more than two million users and produces more than 10 million illustrations.
“The easiest way to use Julius is to talk to it,” said Founder Julius Ai Rahul Sonwalkar at TechCrunch in a previous interview. “You can talk to AI as you would talk to a analyst in your team and AI. As a man would go. He will run the code and make the analysis for you.”
Questions that July can answer and present to a graph includes: “Can you illustrate how revenue and net income for different industries in China are related to the US?”
Julius’s specialization in data science even fell on the eye of Harvard Business School (HBS) Professor Iavor Bojinov last year. Bojinov was so impressed that he asked Sonwalkar to modify Julius specifically for the new required HBS lesson called Data science and AI for leaders.

“People have told us that you are not going to succeed,” Sonwalkar said of building a product that is similar to the features available from fundamental modeling companies. “What we found was that focusing on a case of use is really important.”
While passing through the YC, Sonwalkar also gave a viral farce. In the morning, after Elon Musk acquired Twitter (now X), reporters faced two men with boxes outside the company’s headquarters. One of the two men was Sonwalkar, who was presented as a recently fired Twitter engineer “Rahul. ”
Despite some rumor gained from the vagina, Somwalkar insists that its start is much more attention.
“I don’t think many people know me about it anymore,” he told TechCrunch in a previous interview. “I have been recognized for July much more now.”
