Apple announced Tuesday that it’s launching Apple Music Replay, its answer to Spotify’s popular Wrapped feature. Apple Music Replay gives users a look back at their musical year, highlighting the top songs, artists and albums they streamed.
This year, the feature includes even more listening habits, including a ‘Discovery’ section, which highlights new artists users have heard, and ‘Loyalty’, which showcases artists that users keep coming back to year after year. Additionally, the “Returns” section highlights artists who have returned to users’ listening rotation.
Users will also be able to see their total listening minutes on the streaming service, the total number of artists they’ve listened to, their longest artist streak, their favorite genres and more.
The Apple Music Replay dashboard is accessible through the Home tab on the music streaming service.
In addition to the annual Replay, users can revisit monthly Replay highlights and see annual recaps of every year they’ve been on Apple Music. They can also listen to the “Replay All Time” playlist to hear the songs that have been played the most since they joined the service.
As for artists, they’ll have access to new metrics like audience growth and year-over-year performance summaries. As with previous years, they will be able to see metrics such as total listeners, countries, cities and minutes.
Apple also announced that the top song of 2025 on Apple Music is “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Kendrick Lamar and SZA followed in second place with “luther”. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars rounded out the top three with “Die With A Smile.” Fourth place went to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Billie Eilish took fifth place with ‘Birds of a Feather’.

Apple Music Replay comes a week after YouTube’s launch Recaps 2025 and on the same day that Amazon Music released its own annual recaps. The companies’ year-end features have arrived before Spotify — likely in hopes of getting a jump on music-related social media sharing.
