Apple has released new software updates throughout its product range to correct two safety vulnerabilities, which the company said may have been actively used to hack customers performing its mobile software, iOS.
In security tips posted on its website, Apple confirmed that it has specified the Two vulnerabilities of zero daywhich “may have taken advantage of a highly sophisticated attack on specific targeted people on iOS”.
Errors are considered zero days because they were unknown in Apple as they exploited.
It is not yet known who is behind the attacks or how many Apple customers had targeted or if anyone was successfully at stake. An Apple spokesman did not return TechCrunch’s survey.
Apple believed the discovery of one of the two errors to security researchers working in the Google threat analysis group, which is investigating government government. This may indicate that the attacks aimed at Apple customers have been started or coordinated by a national or government organization. Some government government government representations are known to entail the use of remote planted spyware and other phone devices.
A Google spokesman did not comment right away when TechCrunch arrived.
Apple said one of the errors affects the basic sound of Apple, the system level that Apple uses on various products to allow developers to interact with device sound. Apple said the error could take advantage of the processing of a sound flow in a malicious media file, which can allow malicious code to be performed on an Apple affected device.
The other error, which Apple received exclusive faith in discovery, allows an intruder to bypass the index authentication, a security feature used by Apple in its software to make it more difficult for the invaders to corrupt or import malicious code in memory of a device.
Apple released a Software update for MacOS SequoiaBumping of software version at 15.4.1, and released iOS 18.4.1 that corrects security errors on iPhones and iPads. Apple tv and the Company’s Mixed Reality Headings Vision He also received the same security updates.
