The management company of the Cap Carta table made headlines in 2020, when former Emily Kramer marketing filed a lawsuit citing distinction and gender retaliation.

This case was fixed In 2023, but since then, Carta has settled two other lawsuits filed by women who worked in the business and supposed sexual harassment and discrimination, legal deposits seen by the TechCrunch Show.

On January 9, 2025, Carta fixed A 2023 lawsuit by former Sales Manager Alexandra Rogers, who supposed That Carta’s Cro Jeff Perry threw her thigh and foot on two separate cases. It was launched less than two months after the reporting of the alleged sexual harassment to HR, the complaint claims.

Carta and Perry – who were personally named Rogers’ complaint – strongly denied any offense. Perry filed a complaint of defamation in October 2023 against Rogers. This case is completely rejected after settlement. Carta confirmed to TechCrunch that the matter has been confidently resolved without any acceptance of responsibility.

“Carta has always been committed to equality in the workplace and the fair treatment of all its employees,” said Carta VP of the Amanda Taggart communication in TechCrunch. Rogers’ lawyers did not respond to a request for comments from TechCrunch.

The Rogers case marks the third time that Carta is resolving a lawsuit by a former female employee at the San Francisco Supreme Court.

Carta also resolves a complaint by a former executive account called Amanda Sheets in November 2023, According to another legal depositTechCrunch reports for the first time.

In her complaintThe leaves claimed to be fired because she tried to work remotely despite the fact that she suffered from chronic migraines, while some of her male associates were able to work from home without problems. The leaves claimed to have denied accommodation for her disability and was the subject of sex discrimination.

The complaint of the sheets (as Rogers) was named Perry personally, on his claim that he worked for her remote request and asking him to complete a new form. Carta, who denies sheets’ claims, strongly challenges Perry’s inclusion in the lawsuit and submitted a proposal for Perry to reject the case completely, she told TechCrunch.

However, before the decision on this proposal, all parties agreed to settle. Leaf lawyers did not apply for comments.

Carta has previously been examined on how women and others are treated in the company.
