On Tuesday, the company launched A feature “help with a twin” powered by net “, which will show ideal meeting hours based on the calendar availability and then display them to the person you send an email to create a meeting.
The company notes that the feature is designed to operate for one-on-one meetings, not those with multiple contacts or group meetings.
The launch of the new feature comes in a turbocharging of the Google Workplace announcements focusing on the injection of AI deeper into the daily users’ tools. This includes the import From Google’s latest images processing model, Nano Banana and Gemini features to Google slides. Tools for sharing custom AI assistants called gemstones with other team members. New forms in Notebooklm? Improved AI video tools on Google Vids. And more.
To use the meeting programming option, you will click on the new “Help with the program” button that appears under the Compose email on Gmail. You can click on a processing button to change or remove some of the options, then enter them into your email and send it to the recipient as usual. When the recipient chooses an hour that works for them, the calendar automatically appears automatically appears in the two people’s diaries.
While there are several meeting assistants and automated programming tools already on the market, such as calendars, doodle, zoom, hubspot and more, Google notes that its tool uses Gemini’s AI to use the e -mail framework when making the meeting suggestions. For example, if one writes in the email that they would like to close a 30 -minute post, then the meeting assistant will only suggest half an hour before the end of next week to match your schedule.
Google previously offered a Appointment Planning Mode on Google CalendarBut it was not incorporated with gmail, nor used AI.
