Anthropic says he has been released A new set of AI models Customized to US National Security customers.
The new models, a customized set of “Claude Gov” models, “were built on the basis of our government customers directly feedback to tackle the business needs of the real world,” the man writes in the blog post. Compared to models focusing on Anthropic consumers and businesses, the new Claude Gov models were designed to be implemented in government businesses such as strategic planning, business support and information analysis.

Anthropic says its new Claude Gov models handle the graded material, “refusing less” when dealing with classified information and have a greater understanding of documents in the context of information and defense frames. Models also have “enhanced proficiency” in the languages and lectures that are critical to national security businesses, says Anthropic, as well as “improved understanding and interpretation of cyber security for information analysis”.
Anthropic is not the only top AI lab to go after defense contracts.
