Apple has hosted its new material event today, releasing the iPhone 17 series, along with updates on Apple Watch and Airpods. For the iPhone 17 models, updates included larger screens and an improved camera system, as well as the introduction of an extremely thin iPhone air that replaces the SYN model.

And the company can soon announce more new material, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman report That a new iPad Pro, an up -to -date Vision Pro, up -to -date Airtags, a new Apple TV, a new mini homepod and up -to -date macbooks come either in 2025 or the first half of the 2026.

The iPhone 17 received a makeover to align more closely with Pro models. It has a slightly larger 6.3 -inch display, which is an increase of 0.2 inches compared to the iPhone 16. It also has a 120 Hz screen, a significant upgrade from current 60 Hz. The phone also features a 48-megapixel Ultrawide camera.

It comes in new colors: lavender, blue, black, white and sage.

Pro upgrades are mainly on the back of the phone. The three rear cameras are now arranged in a rectangular rod extending from one end of the device to another. The flash, the light sensor and the microphone are very well positioned to the right side. Where the Magsafe charger is, the Apple logo focuses on aesthetic reasons.

Specifically, the iPhone 17 Pro changed materials, replacing the titanium zone around the aluminum screen.

The iPhone 17 starts at $ 799 and has a basic storage of 256GB. On the contrary, the iPhone 16 started at $ 699 for 128GB. The Pro model costs $ 1,099 and Pro max is $ 1,199.

While the event’s primary focus was on iPhones, Apple announced new phone cases as a bonus. They are called “Techwoven” cases, they have higher quality woven material compared to the “Finewovoven” range of Apple fabrics released in 2023.

Missing from the basic point was any reference to an AI-strengthened Siri, which puts Apple Way behind Google and its competitors.

The biggest announcement at the event was Apple’s thinner phone debut, the iPhone Air, which replaces the iPhone Plus.

This device is 5.6 mm profile thickness, making it about 0.08 inches thinner than iPhones. It also features a 6.6 -inch display and 120 Hz promotion screen. The device is only esim, which helps the product to maintain its elegant design.

This move seems to be Apple’s answer to the trend of thinner smartphones, following the footsteps of other companies such as Samsung and Huawei. The iPhone air could potentially overcome the tip of the Samsung Galaxy S25, which measures 5.8 mm thick. In addition, it can pave the way for Apple’s foldable phone, which is expected to begin in September 2026.

The device is available at $ 999 and will be available in black, white, blue and light gold.

Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3 and SE 3

After a two -year wait, Apple announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which includes faster charging speeds, 5G support and satellite connectivity. The watch also has a larger screen.

However, one of the most exciting upgrades both for Ultra 3 blood pressure monitoring capabilities and for Series 11 is the integration of blood pressure monitoring capabilities. This feature alerts users if blood pressure levels are too high or too low.

The third generation Apple Watch, meanwhile, did not receive significant updates, except for a screen, thanks to a faster S10 chip.

Prices for watches are $ 249 for Apple Watch SE 3, $ 399 for Series 11 and $ 799 for Ultra 3.

Airpods PRO 3

After the release of Airpods Pro 2 in 2022, it is time for upgrading. Airpods Pro 3, available in $ 249, features smaller headphones, improved sound and a new heart detection feature. It also has live translation technology, powered by Apple Intelligence to help users translate foreign languages in real time.
