The App Tracking App Life360 announced today that it adds a new notice to its application that allows users to know when a friend or family member does not reach a specific location at a specified time. This feature aims to help users constantly monitor one’s position to check if they arrived at a place safely.
Life360 has said it is launching the new notice without appearance during the school season to reduce parents’ stress for their children to get to school. The company said this is an alternative to those who are frequent “where are you?” Texts.
To enable this feature, you can go to the circle of the person you want to set a notice for, click on their profile, and then click on the “Set a No Show Alert” option.
You can then set a place and time to receive a one -off notice if they do not arrive in this place in time. You can also make these repetitive notifications by clicking on “Reath” and selecting days of the week.
The feature allows grace time for a few minutes from the specified time, after which the notice goes off.
“Coordination is generally a top concern for families, but this is especially true during the busy season at school.
“No notifications were planned to give parents the peace of mind and to mitigate the need to constantly control their children’s place.
While LIFE360 described the case they use a parent-child, he said that anyone in the family can put alerts for someone else if the sharing of locations is enabled. The company added that anyone in the family can disable location sharing at any time.
The new No-Show feature will be released to all members of the US today and will be available to international members in the coming weeks.
