The Meta Connect 2025 – the largest conference of the year of the company, where it reveals smart glasses and VR headphones – starts on Wednesday night. We expect the Meta Connect 2025 star will be the new smart glasses of the company with Ray-Ban and Oakley, but the company may have some other surprises in the store about Metavers, search headsets or even AI’s wider ambitions.

How to watch
Meta Connect 2025 starts at 5 pm PT Wednesday, with a central spot by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The event will take place in person at Meta’s headquarters at Menlo Park. Then at 10:45 am PT, Meta will host a discussion between the lead scientist Michael Absh and Research Labs Richard Richard Newcombe. The two executives are transferred to discuss the “future of glasses with context AI and how Meta is ready to transform the future of IT”.

What to expect
There have already been several leaks about what will be announced in Meta Connect 2025. Perhaps the largest is related to a new kind of smart glasses called Hypernova.
A video that has now been removed on Meta’s YouTube channelFounded by UPLOADVR, it showed a pair of post-spacious Ray-Ban glasses with a heads-up screen on the right lens, as well as cameras, microphones and an AI assistant.
The glasses in the video were checked by a bracelet, which was presented last year and controlled by fine gestures.
The video suggests that Meta will reveal and may start Hypernova glasses this week. CNBC previously stated that Meta was planning reveals hypernova and start the bracelet in Connect 2025.
Meta also seems likely to present a new pair of smart glasses developed with Oakley at Connect 2025. Companies are expected to launch a new pair of smart glasses powered by AI Style of Oakley’s sphere. This has a large consolidated lens on the front – an ideal shape for runners and cyclists. Unlike the previous post -spoiled glasses, this model has a central camera over the nose bridge, instead of two cameras in the top corners of the frames.
On the VR front, it is not clear if the Meta will release any new search headsets as part of this year’s connection. Although the conference, and the company, was named by Metaverse, it seems that this is less than the focus this year. Meta is reportedly developed A VR Headset Sleep For the launch by the end of 2026. However, the company could wait to show this in the next year’s Connect.
Taking this, Meta promises that Zuckerberg will talk about Metaverse in some form or form. We don’t doubt it.
As for Meta’s AI’s ambitions, it would not be amazing if Zuckerberg was used Connect 2025 as an opportunity to point out all the work done by MSL. The company’s first Llamacon, the AI developer’s conference, took place earlier this year before META investing billions of AI scale and hired researchers from all over the industry.
At the moment, Meta’s autonomous AI application is in a modern spot where it controls smart glasses and can be used as AI Chatbot. It is likely that the application also receives some updates that facilitate use.
