Google Photos is an excellent service for storing images on all devices. But Google Drive and Gmail only offer 15GB of storage for free. Google photos used to provide free unlimited images storage, but this is no longer the case.

If you are looking for a better photo storage plan, different features or just want to move away from Google’s ecosystem, here are some alternatives.

Free Save: 1,000 photos

Usually, storage services offer storage with size limit. But Flickr adopts a different approach: allows people to store 1,000 images and videos for free. An advantage of Flickr: You can upload an image of up to 200MB in size, compared to the 75MB threshold in Google Photos in the free design. Flickr’s paid designs start at $ 10.44 a month for unlimited storage.

If you want to see features beyond personal use, Flickr allows you to make your photos public so that others can find them. You can also participate in groups based on different topics.

Free Save: 5GB

Dropbox is not a storage service that focuses on photos, but this could be an advantage if you are looking to save things beyond the cloud photos. The company has paid plans starting at $ 9.99 per month for 2TB storage, which is similar to Google One Promotion Program.

Free Save: 5GB

Ente was created by a former Google engineer as a more private alternative to Google photos. The service has end -to -end encryption protection, which means that the company does not collect data. The app is available on all platforms and includes features to identify and comment on people. Show photos from different locations. And create categories such as sunsets, mimics and documents. All this is processed on your device.

ENTE’s monthly plans start at $ 2.49 a month for a 50GB storage, which can be shared with five other people. ENTE’s basic code is open so you can modify it to have a self-esteem version.

Free Save: 100MB

Cryptee is another photo storage service that focuses on privacy. It is also an open source. You can create an account with a username and password (there is an email usage option and password). While its free grade does not offer much storage space, the paid grade starts at $ 3.30 a month for 10GB storage. The service operates on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux through a progressive web application and uses AES256 encryption to protect your media.

In addition to the photo storage service, it has a built -in document processor that supports Markdown, Code and Katex Math. In addition, you can use a side-by-side view for documents, save and edit files as PDF and DOCX and use items such as tables and checkboxes.

Free Save: 5GB with a primary membership

This is a great advantage for Amazon Prime members. You can fill some extra pictures you have in the free grade of Amazon photos and if you want more, storage plans start at $ 1.99 per month for 100GB.

Free Save: 21 high -resolution photos per week

The 500px is more oriented towards hobbyists or professional photographers. It has community features to highlight your work and a way to present your snaps in an unknown form. Plans cost less than $ 50 a year, with a discount that allows you to store unlimited high -resolution photos. Premium designs remove ads from the platform and also offer information on how your photos on the platform perform. The Pro Pro Plan of the highest level, priced just under $ 100 a year, gives you tools to build a customized portfolio.

Free Save: No free storage space

The free -level offer sounds like a bummer, but Photobucket offers one of the lowest storage rates, with $ 5 a month for 1TB storage. If you pay for the plan on an annual basis, the price is lower. Photobucket offers an ideal way to share photos with different groups with Group Bucket designs at $ 8 per month for 1TB storage, which also gives you access to the editing tools.
