Google is launch A series of upgrades to the Play Store to help Android Application Developers to market better software and services to consumers. Among the main ones are new tools for managing subscription applications, theme pages that allow users to explore a specific theme in the Play Store, a new feature that allows people to test the sound from developer applications and a more flexible checkout experience that will facilitate developers to sell additives.

Google last week shared a series of announcements related to Android in pre-appearance before the start of the Annual Developer Conference, Google I/O. However, saved the Play Store improvements for Tuesday’s Keynote on Google I/O, highlighting their importance in Google’s bottom line.

Today, technological giants such as Apple and Google are facing a market where application developers have more options in the way they invoice and sell their mobile software, thanks to anti -doctrine regulations, new laws and recent court victories. As a result, Google is working to make its own market Appplace Android more urgent for developers, who are now collectively selling subscriptions of more than a quarter billion.

These pages will be accessible from multiple points to the Play Store, including the original apps page, storage registration pages and search.

Developers will also be able to add a Hero Carousel content and Carousel Playlist YouTube to applications in the Play Store. For applications with audio content, the Play Store will soon start sound samples on the apps homepage. (This feature is already alive for US Google Health and Wellness Developers says in early tests, audio samples have helped to improve applications by 3 times.)

The edited spaces, a feature that started last year to Google Play users to connect with their interests – such as comics or football, for example – will also be released in more locations and categories this year. Google noted that the edited area for comics was quite popular, reaching over 920,000 users in Japan per month.

On the PLAY console for application management, a new asset library will help developers organize their visual assets, including their transformation from Google Drive, labeling them and cutting them for reuse. Other new measurements will provide information on the performance of applications.

The new overview pages will arrive for the test and release of the software, as well as on the pages that focus on monitoring and improving applications. Both of these will include additional measurements and tips for developers in a new “Action” section.

Subscription management tools also receive upgrades, with additional support for multi -product fund for subscriptions, which means that developers will be able to sell subscription additives along with their basic subscriptions within a single payment schedule.

For users, this leads to a simplified checkout experience, while at the same time allowing them to better control their subscriptions when time comes to upgrade or downgrade their add -ons.

The Play Store will remind users the benefits of subscription in more places, including the subscription center, reminder messages and during market and cancellation flows. The changes, which have already been released, reduce the voluntary recovery by 3%, Google claims. Developers will additionally be able to choose to offer a 30 -day grace period or have up to 60 days when the method of payment of their customers is reduced, giving users the time to correct the problem before their account is canceled.
